CRECHES CENTRE UNDER RAJIV GANDHI NATIONAL CRECHE SCHEME

The community workers & helpers are facilitated and connected with supplementary nutrition, non-formal, pre-school education, health check-up etc. For this purpose, the organization is actively engaged in the Crèche scheme for working mothers and is providing comprehensive daycare services to young children (0-6 years) of working and other deserving women belonging to the low-income category. The National Crèche Scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme being implemented by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. The scheme was earlier named as Rajiv Gandhi National Creche Scheme. As part of the scheme, JVS is trying to facilitate the following to its community members:

• Day care facilities to children (age group of 6 months to 6 years) of working mothers.
• Daycare Facilities including Sleeping Facilities.
• Early Stimulation for children below 3 years and pre-school Education for 3 to 6 years old children.
• Supplementary Nutrition ( to be locally sourced)
• Growth Monitoring
• Health Check-up and Immunization.
